Windows 10: microsoft terminal -- via the MS Store

Hello --- The current version/update for the MS Terminal/app has been reported and documented that contains a bug --- the APP keep getting update with the buggy version how do I stop the MS store for applying the faulty update?

Terminating microsoft store

Hi i have terminated microsoft store to see if it would fix my problem of it not opening. I bought minecraft not via microsoft store but i would like to know how do i fix my mistake and is this any way i could get the store back and working. my mistake was terminating microsoft store but i would like to know why it wasnt opening and what could fix? And how to do this step by step?

The error message Windows cannot find ‘ms-windows-store: PurgeCaches’. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again means that your Microsoft Store is not registered. For us to assist you, we suggest that you follow the steps listed below
to re-register your Microsoft Store:

• Press the Windows button + X.
• Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
• In the command prompt, enter the following command:
  
  PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
• Restart your PC and see if the issue persists.
