5. I like the change. I already use a Microsoft ID so no big deal for me. This should quite (some of) those complaining about transferability. It sounds to me like they are actually listening to complaints customer feedback. Waits for the "being forced to use a Microsoft ID" comments.

The announcement was buried in the release notes for build 14371 of Windows 10, released a few days ago. *chuckle

Shawn, the link you posted doesn't work for me:

    Code: insiderhub://announcements/9b3b3a4d-4ec3-4d01-bade-372dbefe3183?Source=ShareLink
I get:

Code: Unknown Protocol One of the following (insiderhub) is not a registered protocol or is not allowed in this context. The address specifies a protocol (e.g. "wxyz://") the browser does not recognize, so the browser cannot properly connect to the site. Are you trying to access multimedia or other non-text services? Check the site for extra requirements. Some protocols may require third-party software or plugins before the browser can recognize them.
Looks like it rerquires you to be logged in with a MS account, then I get a CHOOSE window but still end up with a blank page.

Ahha!, set it to TWINUI and it opens the Insider Hub, imagine that *Smile

    Hey Rich, *Smile

When you click on the link (ex: in IE11), you should be prompted to "Allow" access to open the Feedback Hub app on your computer to the "Reactivating Windows 10 after a hardware change" announcement.

Only if you are logged in with a MS account. If using a local account you get a 404 error.

  14. But does it actually work? I'm not running an Insider build at the moment. I have plans to load one up on my spare tower I just haven't found my round toit. Once I find that I can get going.

  15. Don't know ... I also do not have Insider running. Maybe one of the members running it could confirm.
