Windows 10: Microsoft unauthorized access to my personal photo for desktop background

When I first turned on and registered my new computer, before copying any files from old computer to new, the new desktop displayed the same background photo--my own personal photo--that appears on my old computer's desktop. I've never stored that photo anywhere other than my old computer and external hard drive, but it must be associated somehow with my account. It's my own copyrighted photo and I want to remove it from Microsoft's unauthorized access. How?

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows Logo Key + I. Then click on Personalization.
• Click on Background to change it.

Personalized photo for Desktop Background

Just purchased new W10 laptop. I have personalized the screen saver and the lock window. However, when I try to get one of my images on the Desktop Background it will not show up. In Settings>Personalization>Background, I have selected my image and ticked
"Automatically pick an accent color from my background." On that Personalization screen, my image shows up and looks great. But when I close the window, my background is a solid color, and actually now it is black. I have tried to play with the "Fit" of the
image. It doesn't matter if I select center fit or stretch. I'm still getting a solid background on the laptop. I even tried right clicking an image in the stupid "photo gatherer" on the start menu. I saw it had a place to "set as background." But that didn't
work either.

 

Personalize desktop with pictures taken and stored within My Pictures

Try the below steps and check if it helps.

I suggest you to create a new folder, copy pictures whichever you want to set as desktop background and paste in new folder.

Now browse and select this folder to set as desktop background. Follow the below steps:

• Right click on desktop and select Personalize.
• Under background select Slideshow.
• Now browse for the folder which you created.
• Turn on Shuffle.
