Windows 10: Microsoft Update Breaking PC's - Microsoft Reps Please Look at this - Logs Included

I'm guessing I'm going to have to re-install Windows to put this right, but I'm having the same persistent issue - Windows Update seems to be rbeaking my PC, especially Windows Explorer, which hangs when you eg right click over a drive listed in the left hand side of the documents list.


I've tried sfc /scannow, and the errors come up as un-fixable.

Why am I blaming Windows? Well looking at the fault log, it appears there are multiple entries for Window System files. To my mind these can only be there as a result of Windows Update.

My PC scans Virus free with multiple App and this issue seems to re-occur despite multiple re-installations.

This is why I suspect Windows update is at fault because only Windows Update is going to add more system files.

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.
