Windows 10: Microsoft update rendering older devices useless

The most recent Microsoft update apparently causes the drivers of older devices not to be certified anymore. As soon as I installed the update, my older HP printer was no longer recognized. After extensive and unsuccessful troubleshooting, I called HP support and learned that the most recent Microsoft update was the likely culprit. I uninstalled the updated and all works well again. My question is this: has Microsoft addressed this? Is a new update in the works that will certify the drivers of older devices? Obviously one cannot refuse updates indefinitely. Thanks!

Automatic bluetooth driver update is rendering my wifi useless.

Automatic bluetooth driver update is rendering my wifi useless. Older version of bluetooth works with wifi so please do not auto update my bluetooth and wifi drivers. Its bluetooth driver problem which windows updates which is not done via system update.
I can not seem to understand how it updates offline. My Hp pc drivers of 2015 works fine .. the 2018 version of windows bluetooth drivers are the problem

 

How can I get older Windows drivers?

Sometimes a Windows update installs a new “buggy” driver for a device. So one of the steps I may try (after trying the typical steps, some of them listed below)…is to try installing an older version of the Microsoft driver. I’d try what I said after the typical: downloading the driver from the manufacturer or reinstalling the driver or rolling it back or removing the update or restoring a restore point… So I’m thinking of the best way to get and install an older Microsoft driver, these ideas occur to me: - Boot your PC from an older Windows Installer and robocopy the driverstore folder to another drive (using the installer’s Command Prompt). Then boot Windows and use this copy of the driverstore folder to install the older driver from device manager. - ..or install the older Windows on another PC and copy the driverstore folder from there.. Also: is there any other way to download older Microsoft drivers? I hope this doesn't sound crazy I’d welcome any opinions
