  1. Microsoft update restarted S mode?

I switched out of S mode to use software.
    Everything worked great for weeks.
Then Windows 10 update installed KB4560959.

Now Windows thinks it’s back in S mode and won’t let me run my software. It says I need to exit S mode.
When I try to exit S mode, it says “Try again later. Something happened on our end.”

Now I can’t run my software nor exit S mode.

System won’t let me uninstall KB4560959 because it was a security update, I guess.
    I’m very frustrated.

    can anyone recommend a solution?

    Thanks!

    :)

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Microsoft update restarted S mode? :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
