Windows 10: Microsoft VC++ 2019 X86 Minimum Runtime Missing

Error installing Visual C++ 2019 X86 Minimum Runtime

I installed a couple versions of Microsoft Visual C++ for my new windows 10 system. However, when it comes to Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 X86 Minimum Runtime, it just can't go through and always said "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource
that is unavailable."

Windows installer is running well, I've tried different copies, ran the program install and uninstall troubleshooter, and also tried to delete a specific registration key. None worked. I was wondering what happened......Thanks!!!

 

Microsoft VC++ 2019 X86 Minimum Runtime Missing

Hello,

When I attempt to install Logitech G HUB, I get an error that: "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" for VC++ 2019 X86.

If I try to install just the Redistributable Package for VC++ 2015-2019 (X86), I get the same error. Upon canceling the operation, I get the error that the older version of VC 2019 X86 Minimum Runtime (14.24.28127) cannot be removed. I have already attempted
uninstalling all of the VC++ Redistrubutables, cleaning registry with Ccleaner; none have yielded results.

VC runtime 14.12.25810 install hangs

I'm having an issue with running the latest VC 2017 runtime install (vc_redist.x86.exe). Previous versions didn't have an issue, but the latest (14.12.25810) seems to.
Here's the problem:

I'm launching the vc_redist.x86.exe install from another program with the /passive /norestart command line parameters.

Sometimes the VC runtime install will hang (become non-responsive) for several minutes.

In the log file I find the following:

It sounds like it can't install while those other processes are running. However, the previous versions of the VC runtime (e.g. 2015) didn't have this issue.

Has anyone else run across this and have a solution?
