Windows 10: Microsoft Visual Basic for Application

Discus and support Microsoft Visual Basic for Application in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; Every time I attempt to do anything in any program, this error pops up and requires me pressing enter 10+ times to make it go away.     Microsoft Visual Basic for Application


    Every time I attempt to do anything in any program, this error pops up and requires me pressing enter 10+ times to make it go away. It doesn't say anything useful for solving the problem either, just "Unexpected error; quitting". How do I make it go away?

    Hi Geeker13,

    Are you experiencing this problem when using Microsoft Visual Basic? Or when running any program unrelated to Visual Basic? In the mean time, try installing the latest Windows updates since an update for the Microsoft Visual Basic might be oferred. Running
    the System File Checker and Deployment Image Servicing and Management command-utility tool might also help resolve the issue. To do so, follow the steps below:

    • Open the Start menu, type cmd, right-click on
      Command Prompt       and select Run as administrator.
    • Input the following command-line and press Enter after each line.

      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

      sfc /scannow

    I suggest installing the latest Windows updates with an update for the Microsoft Visual Basic. Then try running the following programs: ‘System File Checker’ and ‘Deployment Image Servicing’ and ‘Management command-utility tool’.
