slow login after updating windows 10 to version 1511

I suppose, it were either #3 or #4 or both that cause the problem to appear again.

 

Try Installing the program again and using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error Status 0x000012f

Certain programs require that you get the specific version of the Visual C++ Redistributable.

This version seems to be asking for version 2012:

You could try downloading the re-distributable package from Microsoft here:

X64

Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4 from Official Microsoft Download Center,
and install it.



X86

Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4I

 

I saw this on a W8.1 PC last week. It corrected itself eventually. Also see Windows 10 keeps reinstalling KB3119142

 

Go to Control Panel>>Programs and Features>>Click on EACH C++2012 entry and click on repair and then Restart.
