Windows 10: Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 version issue

Discus and support Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 version issue in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; Hi! I tried to install Epic Game Launcher and I had an error code 0xc000007b.     Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 version issue


    Hi!

    I tried to install Epic Game Launcher and I had an error code 0xc000007b.

    Tried to uninstall and install again, in another folder, but nothing changes.


    My Windows 10 is updated, and my graphic card drivers too.

    I've noticed that last Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 redistributable package version is 14.27.29112.

    I had 14.0.24123.


    Tried to uninstall it and install again from this page:

    https://www.microsoft.com/it-it/download/confirmation.aspx?id=48145


    But I always get the 14.0.24123.


    Tried Windows Update, but it says I'm already updated.


    How can I update it to try to fix my problem?

    Microsoft Visual C+ + 2015 runtime

    I am having the same problem but I don't have the 2015 version so this won't work for me.

    Any other suggestions?

    Hi Armand

    Open the old Control Panel, then go to Programs and Features

    Scroll down to find the versions of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables installed on your PC, is the 2015 version listed there, and is the 2017 version listed there?

    If so, you should uninstall whichever of those two versions exist on your PC, because there is a conflict with those two, then, restart (not shut down) your PC, then from the link below, download and install the 2015 version, then the 2017 version to see if

    Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 x64 Installation Failure

    I suggest you to uninstall any existing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package and install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package to check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps:

    Step 1: Uninstall the exiting Microsoft Visual C++.

    a) Press Windows key + x key and select
    Programs and Features    .

    b) Right click on the Microsoft Visual C++ and uninstall it.

    Step 2: Download the latest Microsoft Visual C++ and install it.

    Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015
