Windows 10: Microsoft Visual C+2022 x86 Minimun Runtime- 14.38.33130 error

I just purchased a new Windows 11 PC, and a lot of my steam games give me the Microsoft Visual C+2022 x86 Minimun Runtime- 14.38.33130 error. Even newer titles like BG3 and Stormgate do this. I've followed a link on a previous thread to update, but it says the old one can't be uninstalled. Can someone advise me on what I can do to fix this?

Hi Grayson, download the troubleshooter from:

Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed - Microsoft Support

Note: if downloading it with Edge, you will need to click the 3 dots next to the warning and select Keep.

When you run it, select that you are having trouble uninstalling. Then from the list of programs to uninstall, select Microsoft Visual C++ 2022 X86 Minimum Runtime

When that completes, exit the troubleshooter. Run the trouble shooter again but this time select to uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2022 X86 Additional Runtime

When that finishes, you should now be able to install the redistributable without error.
