Windows 10: Microsoft Visual C++ issue 14.11.25325

Hey all,


I have been getting this issue for a while now where i can't do updates to drivers or re-install the C++ programs.


The internet tells me.... I need to rebuild. which is painful as this is only a new install of a few months





Is there a way to find a repository of this "disk" so i can point the "Use Source" to it?

*Also funny... who even has a CD-ROM these day...


I have tried removing all the C++ Installs, all removed apart from this one 14.11.25325 and running the VC_redist.x64 won't work as it puts up the error above.

I have run it as Admin also, because... you never know. But that fails also.

To check follow the steps:

• Type Default programs & select programs & features.
• Check if Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
  is installed.

If yes suggest you to uninstall & reinstall Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
& check if the issue persists.

If the issue persists I would suggest you to contact the game manufacturer.

Microsoft Visual 2017 C++ msi wont install.

This type of error is usually related to damaged C++ components installed. Download and install the latest Visual C++ runtime. Locate and then remove the existing Visual C++ installation. To do this, follow these steps:

Step 1:

1. Press Windows key + X, click on
control panel.

2. Go to Programs and Features.

3. Locate
Microsoft Visual C++ in the list of installed programs.

4. Click
Microsoft Visual C++, and then click Uninstall.



Note: If you cannot find Microsoft Visual C++ in the installed programs list, go to step 2

Step 2: Follow the steps to remove the software.

Download and then install the latest Visual C++ runtime. To do this, follow these steps:
