Windows 10: Microsoft Visual ++ why I got somany installed on computer?

OS: Windows 10 version 2004 64-Bit Japanese updated.

Drivers and software updated.


Hi,

I shall be thankful if, some one would explain what is Microsoft Visual ++, what is its usage and why there are so many installed on my computer.

I do got some software from older computer to new Windows 10 machine.

Please refer screen shot of Microsoft Visual ++

PS* as I do not know which software is using Microsoft Visual therefore, can not uninstall.

I would suggest you to check if Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86 is installed in your computer.

To check follow the steps:

• Type Default programs & select programs & features.
• Check if Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
  is installed.

If yes suggest you to uninstall & reinstall Microsoft visual c++ 2005 x86
& check if the issue persists.

If the issue persists I would suggest you to contact the game manufacturer.

Microsoft Visual 2017 C++ msi wont install.

Software conflicts are one of the possible reasons why this issue is happening. Based on the error message you provided, an older version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 is blocking the installation. We suggest uninstalling Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 from the control
panel before trying to install the new MS Visual 2017. Follow the steps below:

• Is the issue limited to
  Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 installation, or does it happen to all programs you are trying
  to install?
• What other troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

In the meantime, we suggest that you restart the computer, and then reinstall the program.
