Windows 10: Microsoft weather program to plant a tree.

Why can't I get the Microsoft weather program to plant a tree. I have signed in per Microsoft instructions and Microsoft verified that I was signed in but it still does not work. I just keep getting the "You play, we plant". What is wrong?* Changed to a question and moved fronm Center

It only takes a few easy steps to get started and plant your E-tree-just launch Weather from the Windows 10 or Windows 11 taskbar,from the Weather card on the feed in a new tab in Edge,or by heading to MicrosoftStart.com.

On the Weather page, you'll find the seed on the left where you'll be prompted to sign in with your Microsoft Account and then click "Join now." Once your tree reaches 10,000 points, you'll receive an E-tree certificate and the Eden Restoration Projects will plant a real tree in the Mwamdudu site.

If you want to get energy and progress faster, you might complete the daily task as much as possible.

Pay attention to the deadline: The program starts November 5, 2021, and runs through November 5, 2022.

I hope your trees could be harvested as soon as possible!

Microsoft E Tree

I have two E-Trees. E-Tree_8173cf77 when I just go to weather and E-tree_d98531a2 when I log in and go to weather. This was great until E...f77 grew up and needs planting; I am asked to sign in and then the only tree I can access is E...1a2. Does anyone know what to do about this?

 

Edge -"Plant A Tree" In weather Widget (News & Interests)

Clicking on the weather widget in news and interests I get a useful page for weather in my area.However after a short time I am greeted with a large popup asking if I wanted to plant a virtual tree, there was a join now button and a "X" box to close, the latter is what I chose.

However I now get a small circle on the weather page and when I hover the mouse over it I get the merssage "complete daily tasks to nurture your tree".

Is their something in Edge settings to disable this stuff. ?
I also have a dislike of trees in general so it really annoys me to have the above stuff appear when I am browsing.
Any info would be appreciated.
