Microsoft website, managing device actions not working

Before reading, in the end this is solving a problem for my xbox360, however there is something on the Microsoft website preventing me from doing so.

I bought an Xbox 360 S and it was preowned, the family pin passcode was still on the device and I am trying to remove it. I've gone through Microsoft support multiple times and nobody seemed to know what they were doing. I've tried the various codes and nothing is working, I've just about lost hope until I stumbled across this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDD8bXN306w this video is what I am trying to do to reset my pin on my Xbox360. However, I've run into a problem that is not letting me click on the other manage features. It says I need to sign in... which I am! I've also tried this on my phone and it still says I need to sign in. Very odd and I cannot reset the pin because its not letting me access that feature which should be under the manage device tab on the Microsoft website. This is very stressful and I appreciate it for someone to take the time and help me solve this. Thank you very much! 2. The Device manager not working properly - can't select "Action" tab - no drop-down menu

Lost Audio, sound, bluetooth, camera, and microphone icons in the device manager after the 1709 upgrade. can't upgrade with drivers i there's nothing to select to update, de-, or re-install. One next step that was suggested was to select the "Action" tab
in the device manager, and select "scan for hardware changes" from the drop-down menu. Tried; there is no action when i click action. No drop-down menu. Any suggestions?

Obviously something went wrong with the upgrade - my laptop worked great before it. I have reset and done two new clean installs with same result, it boots up with a red X next to the speaker symbol, and when i go in to the device manager all those features
    are missing.

Appreciate any help i can get,

    Thanks

Imaging Devices missing in Device Manager and Webcam doesn't working

    Hi,

Since you mentioned that the said driver is missing in Device Manager, what we suggest is for you to check in the Hidden Devices section on Device Manager. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • On the desktop, press Windows key + X and select
      Device Manager.
    • Click on View and select
      Show Hidden Devices.
    • Check for the webcam under Imaging Devices.
    • If the webcam is listed, then right-click on it and select
      Update Driver Software
    • Select Browse My Computer for Driver Software and follow the prompted steps.
Please post back with the result for further assistance

USB microphone show up under "Other Devices" in the Device Manager

    Hi Luke,

We suggest that you update the device driver. You can do that by following these steps:

    • Select the Start button, type Device Manager, and select
it from the list of results.

    • Expand the category where your device is located, then right-click on the name of your device, and select Update Driver Software.

    • Select Search automatically for updated driver software.

If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions.

If updating the device driver doesn't work, we suggest that you reinstall the driver:

    • Open Device Manager.

    • Right-click on the name of the device.

    • Select Uninstall.

    • Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards.
