Windows 10: Microsoft Wi-Fi direct virtual adapter keeps disabling my Wi-Fi after windows updates

Let me preface this by saying that the issue happens EVERY SINGLE TIME there's a Microsoft system update. without fail. Every time, for the last 3 years. Now, I have an ASUS TUF Gaming F15 2021 and IntelR Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz. I had no issues for a year until one Microsoft system update ruined it. First, the wi-fi would cut out randomly. odd but that's okay I can just reset my network, restart the computer, and connect back to my wi-fi. That resolved the issue for a few days. Then, the network reset wouldn't work anymore. Instead, the wi-fi would cut out 2 minutes into me starting

I am unable to create a wi-fi hotspot on my laptop (HP pavillion ab-032tx model) after upgrading to windows 10. I cannot find Microsoft WI-Fi direct Virtual adapter in the listed adapters (control pannel->network sharing center) . However Microsoft Wi-Fi
direct Virtual adapter and Microsoft Wi-Fi direct Virtual adapter #2 are listed in hidden drivers (device manager-> view tab, faded icons). Upon checking for hardware changes, there are no unkown devices being shown. Microsoft Wi-Fi direct Virtual adapter
#3 is also found in the view tab , but its icon is not faded. All my drivers are updated. Still i am unable to create a hotspot. Pl help me with the same.

Follow the below methods and check the issue:

a. Go to command prompt

as admin and type as “netsh wlan stop hostednetwork” (without no

quotes).

b. Then type this “netsh wlan set hostednetwork

mode=disallow”.

Reference: It disables the service and the Microsoft wifi miniport is gone.

For some reason its mode gets set to allow instated of disallow and when you

uninstall it reappears and messes up the networking, example, printers, wifi

routers, etc.
