Under my "Apps & Features" tab, I've noticed there are apps listed that I've long since deleted. When I try to click on them and select "Uninstall", it simply states that the directory or file is missing. It does not make any attempt to remove it from the listing of Apps & Features, and I cannot go into any "Advanced Options" like other apps that do actually exist on my computer under this tab. 2. Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.

  3. Recent Directories in Windows 10

    Hi Phil,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

Yes, the recent directory list is not available in the quick access and frequent directories list doesn't appear in the Quick access. As this feature is by design. So I suggest you to give your feedback in Windows feedback app.

    Thanks.
