Until now, I have always been able to stop similar messages on other computers using the task manager or closing the Firefox/Edge browser. I also deactivated the browser notifications on the affected computers. But this message is more persistent. Firstly, I couldn't start the task manager at all. Fake Virus Alert Popups with Edge browser

Check that the tab it starts with is unpinned. When that site opens click the lock icon in address bar and block notifications. Just some suggestions.
