  1. Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power Event ID 41 task 63 Critical, how to fix?

Hello everyone, I have a problem that my PC shuts down unexpectedly getting this critical on the event viewer. Let me explain the problem as well. My PC crashes down instantly to a black screen and tries to reboot. Sometimes it does, sometimes it crashes again. The CPU light in the motherboard goes on. This happens way too randomly meaning that this problem started taking place last February until May and for the whole summer until October had no crashes. Then it started again for a while, the whole November having no crashes and now it started again. It also depends on the days. Two days ago

  3. Critical Kernel-Power event (event ID 41, Task Category (63))

    Hi TheMadDog52,

Thanks for sharing the Event Viewer Logs.

Event Viewer logs indicates Event ID 41: "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first". This event indicates that some unexpected activity prevented Windows from shutting down correctly. Such a shutdown might be caused by an interruption in the power supply or by a Stop error.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/...

Since BugcheckCode and PowerButtonTimestamp values are zero as mentioned below:

    BugcheckCode 0

    BugcheckParameter1 0x0

    BugcheckParameter2 0x0

    BugcheckParameter3 0x0

    BugcheckParameter4 0x0

    SleepInProgress 0

    PowerButtonTimestamp 0

    BootAppStatus 0

    Checkpoint 0

This behavior might indicate a power supply problem. If the power to a computer is interrupted, the computer might shut down without generating a Stop error.

To help isolate the problem, do the following steps:

    Disable Fast Startup:

    https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-wind...

Disable overclocking. If the computer has overclocking enabled, disable it. Verify that the issue occurs when the system runs at the correct speed.

Check the memory. Use a memory checker to determine the memory health and configuration. Verify that all memory chips run at the same speed and that every chip is configured correctly in the system.

You can test the RAM with the free utility MemTest86, then run a full 8 pass scan to test your RAM for physical errors:

    https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/14201-memte...

Check the power supply. Verify that the power supply has enough wattage to appropriately handle the installed devices.

Check for overheating. Examine the internal temperature of the hardware and check for any overheating components.
