    Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power Event ID: 41 Task Category: 63 L


    My laptop keeps crashing and rebooting. I've checked the event viewer and under the windows logs application tab there are several critical level logs with the explanation - 'The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

    Ive been having this Issue for months now, and I dont know what to do. Ive read somewhere that i should get a new PSU, but is there really no other fix? I dont really want to invest in a new one. I posted this question once a few months ago and got suggested to delete the video card drivers and install them anew, but that didnt help either.

    Specs:

    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 FE

    Intel i9-10900K

    32GB RAM

    Phanteks Revolt X 80 PLUS Platinum 1000W PSU

    If i get no BSODs, no errors, no events logged in event viewer apart from kernel power 41 (63), not even the windows did not shut down successfully screen (don't know if that is still in windows 10), and the computer just turns off and a few seconds later it turns back on, is it safe to assume that it is the power supply and not the motherboard? Because I have heard that this can be caused by the motherboard. Also when this happens, is it harmful for the rest of the hardware?
