  1. Microsoft Windows No Internet Issue

    Hello,

I can successfully connect to the internet, but the Network and Internet Settings tab states 'No Internet, secured' nonetheless.

This thread states that this is a known issue with Windows Version 2004, which I currently have: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/wifi-is-working-but-says-no-internetsecured/c673787a-b649-477d-b73c-3a36b8e593ae

The issue is that when I click update to fix this issue, I get the following error: "We couldn't check for updates because you aren't connected to the Internet. Make sure you have a mobile data or WiFi connection and try again."

Am I able to solve this issue without reverting to a previous Windows version as here: https://lifehacker.com/how-to-undo-and-prevent-windows-updates-1836420965 as this involves uninstalling my applications?

    Thanks.

    :)

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?

Microsoft Windows No Internet Issue wie1.png

Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).
