Windows 10: Microsoft-Windows-OneCore-Containers-Opt-Package corrupted

Hello,


I can't install any new update of windows because my computer lost power during one of the updates

When I update I obtain this in my CBS.log


As "Microsoft-Windows-OneCore-Containers-Opt-Package" doesn't give me any KB I don't know which one to take to fix it with DISM

I'm currently on windows 1903 [amd64].

Differentiate between W10 Desktop Packages and W10 Mobile Packages

Hi,

iam playing around with DISM and Windows 10 packages and there are a lot of tutorials out there describing how to remove bloatware etc.

Now i want to go a step further and trying to remove these packages that only used in the mobile versions of windows 10 like,

Microsoft-Windows-WLAN-Package

Microsoft-Windows-WirelessWAN-...

Microsoft-OneCore-CameraCaptureUI-...

Microsoft-Windows-WebcamExperience-...

Microsoft-OneCore-Miracast-...

Microsoft-Windows-MiracastView-...

For example i have no wireless tab under settings menu, i have no camera and bluetooth and i have no support for Miracast so i could remove these packages without have any problems.

Is there a flag or a file where the Windows installation routine differentiates between the packages that are installed or something else?

 

Microsoft Windows Home Server Corrupts Files

Microsoft has warned Windows Home Server users not to edit files stored on their backup systems with several of its programs, including Vista Photo Gallery and Office's OneNote and Outlook, as well as files generated by popular finance software such as Quicken and QuickBooks. "When you use certain programs to edit files on a home computer that uses Windows Home Server, the files may become corrupted when you save them to the home server," Microsoft said in a support document posted last week. The document went on to list the software, which includes Windows Vista Photo Gallery, Windows Live Photo Gallery, OneNote 2003, OneNote 2007, Outlook 2007, Microsoft Money 2007 and SyncToy 2.0 Beta. Others programs, however, may also corrupt files stored on a home server powered by Microsoft's operating system. "Additionally, there have been customer reports of issues with Torrent applications, with Intuit Quicken and with QuickBooks program files," the document said. "Until an update for Windows Home Server is available, we recommend that [you] do not use the programs that are listed to save or to edit program-specific files that are stored on a Windows Home Server-based system."

What is 'OneCore Capture'

What is the 'OneCore Capture' service that is listed beneath
'Capture' under the Services tab in
Task Manager?

I Had the Camera appopen/crashed and not responding, as well as
Task Manager where thefamiliar Capture UI service
was listed above this otherOneCore capture, of which I cannot recall ever seeing.

And clicking anywhere on theTabbed window frame containing both
Camera and Photos (Something entirely new and unexpected yet quite handy) would make the system
ignore keyboard & mouse
clicks for about 60-120 seconds.
