Windows 10: Microsoft Windows stopped and has to be closed.

I just have one question, which is related to Windows.So i am using a program called Razer Cortex, and in this program, there is a game booster which apparently gives you an fps boost in games, and i am using that, BUT, after i end my gameplay and it restores the normal performance, i get a pop up saying that Microsoft Windows stopped working and needs to be closed, and in that pop up window there is a option Close Microsoft Windows Operating system, and of course, if i dont do anything, nothing happens.. For now i am ignoring that but if somebody can tell me if that is an issue with the Razer

Microsoft Edge has stopped woorking

There may be a number of reasons why suddenly Edge would stop working. The first troubleshooting step that we can try is to run the troubleshooter for Windows apps. Check out
this link for more information and download link for the troubleshooter.

If the above step won't work, we also suggest resetting Edge. For this, follow the steps below:

• Close Microsoft Edge browser.
• On the Cortana search bar, type Default App settings.
• Click on Microsoft Edge (the list may not include Edge if your operating system is not on Creators Update.)
• Under Microsoft Edge, click Advanced options.
• Click the Reset button and confirm.
• Restart your PC.

Note: Your PC must be updated to the latest version of Windows for this troubleshooter.

Microsoft Edge ends (stops & closes)

I understand your concern regarding the issue that you are facing.

• Did you clean your cookies and history in Microsoft Edge?
• Did you get any error message while loading the web pages?

Method 1:

I suggest you clear the Clear browsing data option
of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

• Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Edge.
  
• Select Settings and click on
  Choose what to clear.
• Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files
  and click on Clear.

Method 2:

If you are using any Proxy connection, then try disabling the proxy connection and check.

Follow the steps to disable proxy:

• Click the Settings icon at the top right corner in internet explorer.
  
• Click the Tools button, and then click
  Internet Options.
• Click the Connections tab, and then click
  LAN settings.
• Uncheck the box next to "proxy server for your LAN".
  
• Click on OK to save the setting and close window.

Microsoft default Apps: "Stopped responding (and was closed)"

I would suggest you to try running Windows store app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Type troubleshooting in the
  Search area on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Click on View all on the left panel of the Troubleshooting Windows.
  
• 
  Select Windows store Apps.
  
• 
  Follow the on screen instruction.
