Windows 10: Microsoft Windows XP Lost Accounts After System Restore

Ok, so I logged back onto my windows XP computer and I had 2 accounts. One as for me and the other for my brother. I had accidentally did a system restore cause I was messing around at the home screen and when I saw what it was doing I turned it off. Turned it back on, a file was corrupted and it wouldn't start. So I had to do system restore. I had no saved data points and I didn't backup. After it loaded, it just reinstalled everything. When it was done it was logged into my account. My brothers accounts wasn't there. All my data was there but a whole user was gone. All my documents, pictures

Turn off system restore in XP altogether...or if you dont want to, AsRocks suggestion should work :\

So... Lost an account - lost everything, huh? Don't like this system much, but I can't really blame Microsoft for doing that as long as it's the most popular way of handling "protected" stuff (Steam is a "good" example).
There are even few advantages:

• An access to updated and "personalized" ISOs (for example, purchasing Windows 8 will give you Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.1 Update when they come out). No need to struggle with Windows ADK anymore.
• Easy way of "unbinding" your license if you don't need it on your current (running) system and wish to install it on another machine.
