Windows 10: Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter Unable to Connect

We have just purchase a Framework laptop with a 12th Generation Core i5 processor and we are unable to connect to any of our several Microsoft Wireless Display V2 adapters. We have connected with several other laptops with different processors and hardware perfectly happily but with this laptop I press Ctrl + K and the display adapter shows up in the list, I click connect and the display in question shows connecting, it then just spins and fails to actually show anything and eventually times out.I can see that the adapter appears as a Miracast device in device manager and I have tried the foll

I would suggest you refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the article

Alternatively, you can also check for firmware updates for the Display adapter from the Application.

Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter connect & disconnect

I understand your concern that you are unable to connect to Miracast using Microsoft Display Adapter, we will help you to resolve this issue.

I suggest you to run a Network Adapter troubleshooter and check if it helps:

Follow the steps:

• 
  Type Troubleshooting in the Search box from the desktop.
  
• 
  Select the Troubleshooting option.
  
• 
  Select View All option and select the Network Adapter.
  
• 
  Click on Next to perform the Network Adapter troubleshooter and follow the steps.
