Windows 10: microsoft wireless keyboard 3000 model 1066 usb device not recognized

Hi All, One off you customers uses a Microsoft wireless keyboard 3000. When the user plugs the dongle in the computer shows the following message: ‘USB device not recognized’.I’ve seen some other posts on this issue but none of them are solving this.I did the following things:download the Mouse and Keyboard Center but it did not recognize the dongle.Deleted the dongle driver and rebooted.It’s a HP computer installed the latest drivers and Windows updates.I hope someone can find a solution for this issue.

Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000 V2.0.

I lost my USB dongle for my Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000 V2.0. Is there a way to get a replacement dongle or do I need to buy a new keyboard?

 

Microsoft wireless mouse/keyboard not recognized.

I bought a wireless mouse and keyboard package. Its the Microsoft wireless mouse 500 and the wireless comfort keyboard 5050. It worked great for a while, but I got a Windows 10 update, and all of a sudden when I plug in the usb, I get an error saying
it has malfunctioned or Windows doesn't recognize it. I tried reinstalling the 'Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center', but that didn't help. Any suggestions?

 

Microsoft Comfort Curve 3000 is not recognized by Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center

I could not find the Comfort Curve 2000 driver on Microsoft's website.

My keyboard is the Comfort Curve 3000, and I wanted to use the mouse and keyboard center to create macros and change some keys functionalities.

I have looked into Microsoft's supported devices page:

And it shows the Comfort Curve 2000 is compatible, but there's no Comfort Curve 3000 on the list.

Is there any way I can make my keyboard be recognized by the MS Mouse and Keyboard Center?
