Windows 10: Microsoft wireless keyboard 3000 v 2.0

HiI have a microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse set 3000 v 2.0 that i haven't used for a while and the keyboard now as a mind of its own. any key i press delivers multi letters/numbers/opens dialogue boxes all at the same time with one short key press.any key pressed produces complete rubbishany ideas?

*Original Title: Activate Buttoms/Keys Microsoft Keyboard

After upgrade from Windows 7 to 10, most of the costomizable buttoms and keys on my Microsoft wireless keyboard 3000 v.2. do not function any more.

All settings on the keys/buttoms are still given values, but no reaction when pushing the keys and buttoms.

Anybody have any ideas to help this problem ??

 

Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000 v.2 doesn't work with Windows 10

So, I completed the transition to Windows 10. Unfortunately, before they put out the product, they forgot to put out Windows 10 drivers for their own Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000 v.2. Now I'm stuck buying a new one unless MS churns out a driver stat.
I've gone to device manager, uninstalled the driver, and restarted with zero luck. This is more for awareness than seeking a solution.
