Windows 10: Microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard lagging

I've been having a lot of trouble with my Microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard since replacing my computer to a windows 10 model. I was using the same mouse and keyboard with my old computer with little trouble but since upgrading to my new computer which is in every way an upgrade my mouse and keyboard have been terribly glitchy. They will both freeze or jump, I'll have missing and extra letters when I'm typing its so frustrating. I did uninstall and reinstall the keyboard and mouse with the Microsoft drivers and removed any old hardware with little improvement. I'm at a loss as to what to do now, the mouse and keyboard are so laggy that the computer is virtually not useable right now.

• What is the exact model number of your wireless mouse and keyboard?
  

This usually happens if there’s a signal interference. If you’re using a Wi-Fi router, you may want to move it away from the keyboard/mouse receiver to see if the issue persists.



If the issue persists, I suggest you to try the troubleshooting methods listed in the following articles and see if it works.

Microsoft Wireless mouse and keyboard lag in Windows 10

Hi.

I am experiencing significant lag on my wireless mouse and keyboard in Windows 10. I specifically bought a Microsoft wireless mouse and keyboard thinking that it would be more compatible than the Logitech products I had previously. I keep all my drivers
up to date, and have tried all techniques listed in previous posts, with no success. Please either point me to a fix that works or make this a priority as this technology is not new and this should not be even remotely a problem for you guys.

Recommend a keyboard/mouse?

Right now I'm looking to get the Logitech MX3200, but was looking at Microsoft Ergonomics Keyboard 4000. But Could not really find a wireless mouse that stood out. I can do with a wired keyboard, but any suggestions on a good wireless mouse?

What would you guys recommend? MX3200 or Microsoft 4000 + whatever wireless mouse
