Windows 10: Microsoft Wireless Numpad keeps crashing bluetooth driver

Hi all,Since buying the microsoft wireless numpad I have had the problem, that it keeps disconnecting from the bluetooth every minute or so for a few second. When other devices are connected as well it causes their connection to crash as well. I have tried updating my bluetooth driver intel and it is on the newest version LMP 11.10016 but this has so far been to no avail. My PC is a Lenovo Laptop L13 Yoga.Can anyone tell me what might be the problem? I have only ever had this problem with the windows wireless numpad.Regards,Stefan

No Bluetooth Driver


My phone sees my bluetooth card. Its a

Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth Mini-card.

The computer is not seeing this card in the device settings.

I guess the issue becomes one of finding the driver and installing it.

App developers will be able to use an API to feed data collected from Bluetooth Smart low-energy sensors, like a fitness monitor or medical device, to an application running on a Bluetooth Smart Ready product like the Microsoft Surface.

The launch of Bluetooth v4.0 unleashed a wave of new Bluetooth Smart and Smart Ready devices which provide manufactures and developers the opportunity to create the next generation of devices and software applications that will transform the way consumers interact with their technology. Microsoft is the latest in a list of companies utilizing Bluetooth v4.0 and the technology's low energy capabilities, a list that also includes major brands like Nike, Samsung, Panasonic, Nintendo, Sony and Ford, among others. Bluetooth technology's massive ecosystem is expected to expand remarkably within the next five years reaching 20 billion cumulative Bluetooth enabled device shipments by 2017.

 

Bluetooth drivers not retained

Due to a malfunction, the wireless module of my Dell XPS 15 had to be replaced. Since the replacement, I'm unable to use the bluetooth which is included on the same module (Intell AC9260). I've tried the drivers suggested by Windows as well as the manufacturer specific driver and the generic chipset driver. All with the same result: It will work after the installation, but will disappear after a reboot.

After booting my laptop the bluetooth device shows in Device Management as having a problem with error code 43: "windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (code 43)". I can run the problem solver for bluetooth and the device will function normally, until a reboot.

I've put in a new SSD to be able to run a clean install of Windows-10 or even an Ubuntu installation. In both cases the bluetooth works as expected. Which points in the direction of my current Windows installation having an issue somewhere. Any ideas or suggestions to further analyze and fix the issue are appreciated since a clean install at this moment is no option.
