Windows 10: Microsoft won't allow me to access my bitlocker recovery key

I'm not entirely certain why this has happened in the first place as I haven't installed anything new or suspicious, but upon turning on my pc I was told I needed to go to aka.ms/myrecoverykeya Microsoft website to obtain my bitlocker recovery key. Upon doing so, I was told that I would be unable to do so for a month for 'Security reasons'Until I get that recovery key. I cannot use my only laptop. How can I get the key faster than in a month?

Lost bitlocker recovery key

I have lost my bitlocker recovery key and tried following the recovery steps. I have also searched and tried following the command prompts suggested but none have worked.

What puzzles me is why the Bitlocker recovery key is not listed on the microsoft account, but there is a recovery key listed there for a computer I do not recognise.

I have several laptops but only the HP Envy has had Bitlocker on it. So what key is this on my account? And why isn't the Envy key there?
