Windows 10: Microsoft Won't Give Up old roaming directory location on C drive

So I moved all of my app data folder locations to my secondary drive but for some reason the Microsoft folder doesn't quite get that and won't leave. If I delete them they reappear within seconds and I do a bit funny a bit funny that the directories it refuses to move are mostly empty folders 8.24KB total So does anybody know how to convince this folder to leave I'm starting to see it as the senile mental patient living in my computer.

Huge Number of files in AppData\Roaming\Microsoft directory

Thanks for the help and guidance. If i go in command prompt to attempt going to the protect directory it Roaming\Microsoft directory, a directory listing shows me a different location or sub dirdctory list? I can only navigate to this directory via File
Explorer.

Any command execution attempts just returns path not found errors if i include the Protect directory in any arguments.

Kind of weird.

Im jyst going to migrate user to new account and delete the old one. Thought that might be the easiest path to clear?

I am doing backup and image as a backup plan. Quite honestly due to amount of use it would probably not take too much time to just do a fresh install. Id bet if i had just started down that path it would have taken less time at the beginning.

Correct Directory Location For Pictures Folder

"Now Documents, Videos etc say file location is This PC. But Pictures file location is C:\Users\PeteyBoPetey\Pictures."

If we understand you correctly, the issue is that Pictures doesn't appear in the left panel under This PC. The correct location IS C:\Users\PeteyBoPetey\Pictures. This is only an issue of using Step 8 in the tutorial to add it back to the list. See if this screenshot is what you want to achieve- put Pictures folder back in list on L.

  Go to This PC and select C drive.
  
• 
  Right click on any of the files.
  
• 
  Select properties and find the location of the file.
