Windows 10: Microsoft won't send a code to my Xfinity email address

Microsoft won't send a code to my Xfinity email address from my Win 10 home computer log in page. Or from anywhere a code is required. Microsoft support sent a message to this email address, and I received it OK. Why can't Microsoft FIX this problem after years of complaints on this forum? I tried to edit my Microsoft account on microsoft.com, and Microsoft locked my account for a MONTH! Now I can't give them enough information to unlock my account. Is there no solution?

• What type of email account are you using? (POP, IMAP or Exchange)

Here is the step to remove that old email address.

Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

Just do this step and your good to go.

As per your suggestions I understand that your IP address might have blocked.

Do let us know the type of the email address you are using (live.com/ outlook.com/ Hotmail.com)?

Also, is this issue specific to the particular recipient?

I suggest you to try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to log-in to the online account, try to send an email to the recipient and check.

Step 2: Try to log-in to the web browser, perform step 1 and check.

If the issue still persists, I suggest you to contact the ESP/ ISP service provide and check if that helps.
