    You are refering to the "Best Match" option when you point to the third picture (the animated GIF).

    That is what Cortana throws at you before the "My Stuff" or "Web" searches.

    Cortana is not working fine

    Original title: Search This PC gives no results

    When I use "Search This PC" I get no results. What's more, it doesn't even seem to try to search.

    If I go to a folder where I know a file is and do a search, the search works... but of course if I knew where all my file are I wouldn't need to search.

    When I upgraded to Windows 10 I did NOT opt-in to use Cortana. Must I use Cortana for a plain-old desktop search to work?
