Windows 10: microssoft forced me to create a new password when my setting said never change my password

microssoft forced me to create a new password when my setting said never change my password. So whoever is in charge of that department, can you please stop forcing me to change my password when I clearly didn't want it changed. I already had a password in place and I haven't had an issue with it before so I don't know why there's an issue now.

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

• Click Accounts; then, Sign-In Options.
• Tap the Change button in the Password section.
• Re-enter your password; then, create a new password.

To change the password of the Local Account on Windows 10, follow the steps below:

• Press CTRL+Alt+Delete on your keyboard.
• Choose Change a password.
• Make sure to enter the correct old password before you can create your new password.
