has anyone been scammed by this company and are they affiliated with Microsoft?

DO NOT LET MICROTECH ON YOUR COMPUTER!!!! These people are a complete scam. I don't understand why Microsoft does't legally go after them. They clearly pose as affiliated with Microsoft. Don't eve call them if you get an alert. Call Microsoft.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
