Windows 10: Middle Mouse Button Click Isn't Working

Unfortunately, earlier today, my middle mouse button stopped working whenever I clicked it. I plugged in another mouse, one that I had just bought from the store, and it's middle mouse button wasn't working either. I tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them, updating the drivers, troubleshooting hardware issues, and a few other things, but I believe the issue is with the software of my computer, as neither middle mouse button will work. I'm just not sure what to do to fix it, as many of the options from guides I've read or watched online have been fully exhausted and tried. Thanks in advance for any help.

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

 

Middle mouse button not working in Windows 10

I recently purchased a new laptop and the middle mouse button no longer works. It is a Logitech M310 that works fine on another laptop, so I know the hardware is working. I checked the Mouse settings in the control panel and there are no settings I can change for the middle mouse button, only the wheel for scrolling. I tried updating the drivers, but they are at the latest. I am out of ideas and had no idea how much I relied on that button in Firefox.

When working with Windows I am used to open a new browser (chrome, Firefox) with the middle mouse button.
Unfortunately with the Logitech G602 it is no working

Ubuntu 16.04

In Ubuntu I have the same issue using the Logitech G602 : Mouse wheel does not work as middle button:

• Mouse wheel / middle button does not open a new browser tab
  
• Mouse wheel / middle button does not paste a text previously marked
  

To me it looks like a driver or settings issue.
How can I fix it?
(If I remember right I had the same issue under windows as soon as I installed the logitec driver)
