Windows 10: Middle mouse click toggles between windows - how to disable?

I'm currently using a Win 10 PC 21H2 and noticed something weird:If I press and hold down the middle mouse button/mouse wheel and move the mouse slightly, usually the e.g. browser page scrolls down/up quickly but on this PC clicking the middle mouse button/mouse wheel opens a list of windows/apps that are currently open and clicking the button again toggles between these windows.I already connected the same mouse to another Win 10 PC 20H2 and it does the regular fast scroll there.I also checked the Win 10 mouse settings but didn't find any settings for the middle mouse button.How do I di

Disabling trackpad when external mouse is active

I have an ASUS laptop running Win10. The touchpad gestures sometimes accidentally activate and make a hash of my typing. I wish to use an external mouse and disable trackpad automatically when that mouse is active. Your advice says:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Select Ease of Access.
3. Click Touchpad.
4. Under Touchpad, toggle the switch on or off.
5. You can also uncheck the box beside Leave touchpad on the when a mouse is connectedoption to disable it when you use a traditional mouse.

Once done with the steps above, check if the issue will persist.



As you no doubt know, these instructions are WRONG. There is no toggle switch under touchpad, and no option to toggle touchpad off when using external mouse.

I allow WIN10 to update. It is updated.

So what is the secret? And why is it a secret?

 

I want to disable mouse middle button click

I am using Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse (km632). from last few days my mouse start doing issue while page up scrolling. and clicking middle button. due to this text front goes bigger. I want to use mouse scrolling but disable middle button clicking
option. I am using windows 10 and I cannot see any option to disable mouse middle button. Can you please help me in this matter.

You may also try to map the middle mouse button to something else, then map it back to what it was previously.
