Windows 10: Midi

Midi sequences on websites are not playing. Checked the sound, video and game controller settings and they all show as being on blue tooth, digital microphone and realtek audio. Media player works well on music I have downloaded and on you tube. What else could I be missing? Do I need to download a separate midi device? Everything worked well until I had to sent my laptop in for repairs.

Surface Pro 4 - Midi Connectivity

If possible, please do the following tests to further confirm whether it's the problem of the system itself or the problem of the MIDI device.

• Connect your current MIDI device to another Surface device/Windows computer to see if it works.
  
• Connect another MIDI device to the current computer to see if it works.
  

Additionally, if this Surface device is for work, I suggest you contact your IT department to help you figure it out, as each unit has its own unique security policy to secure the domain environment, that we cannot provide further technical support.

As a workaround, we suggest that you download the files and use Windows Media Player with the right codec package installed. To do that, you may refer to the support link below:

this is a bad suggestion but you could disable the card and run off your onboard if it really bothers you sry no bug help w/ midi try emailing craeative they should help
