Windows 10: Migrating an entire data disk from Win 10 to Win 11

I have searched but cannot spot an answer to the same situation as mine. Sorry if I missed one :- Anyhow - Here it is. I have a new desktop PC running Windows 11. My old desktop was windows 10 with a 500Gb system disk and a 2Tb data disk. I have thought about how best to transfer everything and to that end I have put the old disks in the new PC and booted it in Windows 10 - All works fine and I can now upgrade to 11. However, I would prefer to have a fresh install of Windows 11 so is there any way I can use the existing Data disk with the new Windows 11 boot disk? I have tried it but whenever

upgrade from WIN 7 to WIN 10 failure

getting the error "failed in SECOND BOOT, MIGRATING DATA step" when trying to upgrade from WIN 7 to WIN 10. any idesa on how to fix.

 

Migrating applications and settings from my previous installation to my new Win 10 HDD.

I have to install a new disk into my desktop, I will still run Win 10 Pro. Is there a way to migrate my apps, settings and data from the old disk to the newly clean, vanilla Win 10 on the new disk? Everything is on one desktop and I have to remove the
original disk at some stage, but I can leave it installed as a secondary disk for migration purposes.

 

Migration (NOT update) to Win 10

I have a dual-boot Win7/Win10 setup, the Win 10 having been created (NB) from a Second, separate, legitimate copy of Windows 7. This allowed me to evaluate Win 10 without prejudicing my working installation in Win 7. I now wish to migrate my programs
and data from the Win 7 partition to the Win 10, BUT KEEP MY WIN 7 partition. I can find no equivalent of "migwiz" in windows 10. Will my Win 7 Migwiz do the job: if not, how can I shortcut a tedious reinstal of every application I have?
