Windows 10: Migrating to WIn11 from Win10 without a fast internet connection.

My old PC runs W10, new PC has W11. I like and use OneDrive but I do not have a fast internet connection. I have already staarted the process, I have my Microsoft account etc set up on the new PC but at current synch rates it will be about *three months* before the synch is done. How can I get my files from the cloud OneDrive onto my new PC without using the internet? Can I copy them onto an external hard drive from the /OneDrive/ folder on my old PC and move them to the /OneDrive/ folder on the new PC?

Same VPN that works on Win10 won't work on Win11

Here is the exact text of the other error I sometimes see. This one seems to appear on my win11 machine only if I haven't connected to the VPN from my win10 machine recently.

"The network connection between your computer and the VPN server could not be established because the remote server is not responding. This could be because one of the network devices (e.g. firewalls, NAT, routers, etc) between your computer and the remote server is not configured to allow VPN connections. Please contact your Administrator or your service provider to determine which device may be causing the problem."

Just to rehash the steps I've taken to troubleshoot this particular error:

1. It doesn't appear to be the firewall on my win11 laptop, because I've tried connecting with it turned off, and haven't had any success.
   
2. It doesn't seem to be anything in between my home network and the remote VPN server, because I can connect from my win10 laptop on the same network.
   

 

Migrating Win10 to NVMe SSD

I am going to migrate my Win10 to my NVMe SSD. Installation wise there should be no problem. However I cannot seem to be able to erase the old Windows 10 on the SATA SSD. If I boot from USB Win10 Installation media it only ask me whether I want to repair the SATA SSD Win10 or not. Any ideas on how to complete erase the SSD that currently have Win10 on it? I tried sanitize drive and PSID revert in Win10, neither would work. The SATA SSD is Crucial MX200.

 

Connect app not working from Win10 to Win11

I've been trying for a few days to use my Win11 laptop as a second monitor to my Win10 laptop (it has better configuration to work with). I have tried everything the 2 first pages on Google recommend to do:

- Updated bluetooth drivers from both laptops

- Uninstalled and intalled bluetooth drivers from both laptops

- Disconnected and connected bluetooth from both laptops

- Ran "sfc /scannow" command

- Uninstalled and installed the Connect app from both laptops

- Ran the "/Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" command

None of the above solved it.

I can share my Win11 screen to my Win10 laptop with the Connect app without problems, but I need to share my Win10 screen to my Win11 laptop.
