Windows 10: MIGRATION OF MY DIGITAL PURCHASED WINDOWS 10 PRO FOR WORKSTATIONS TO MY NEW DEVICE

Gents,


I purchased another PC and would like to upgrade the new PC windows to 10 pro for workstations I purchased a while ago. I am not with new old PC. I have checked the purchase and it is still under my name in microsoft store but cannot locate the activation key.

Your new device requires a license for some Edition of Windows 10 in order to use an upgrade license to Pro for Workstations that had been purchased for your previous device. Your Microsoft Account at https://account.microsoft.com ought
to show a record of the Edition upgrade that was purchased.

Possibly you need to first purchase the same Edition of Windows 10 that you upgraded from on the previous device, unless the new device is already licensed for that same Edition. What to do depends on the original Windows 10 Edition that was on the previous
device prior to Pro Workstation and what Edition the new device is already licensed for.

 

how to install and download the new windows 10 pro workstation

I've done a couple of clean installs, both with the MCT ISO and my Visual Studio Subscription ISO, Windows 10 Pro Workstation was not listed as an option. Pro and Pro N were listed but no Workstation. On one of my Pro installs I did a change product key, entered one of my MSDN Pro Workstation Keys and it switched to Pro Workstation and activated with a Digital License. I have no idea how you clean install it though?
