Windows 10: Min issues, hearing static after May 2020 update can someone help

After installing the May 2020 windows update my microphone hasn't been right. Audio for everything is normal but on calls I have been told there is a lot of static. After the update my laptop went into a cycle repair update I may not have the words correctand wouldn't stop. Geek squad looked at it and uninstalled and updated drivers. After two long periods at Geek Squad it still doesn't work. I have attached external microphones and found the same issue. During a non pandemic this wouldn't be horrible but I need to be on calls frequently and am forced to use my phone. Any help ASAP would be greatly appreciated!

Step 1:

I suggest you enable settings in the Playback Devices and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the speaker icon on your taskbar.
• Select Playback Devices.
• Click on the Playback Devices and right click on the
  Speakers/Headphones.
• Check mark on the Show Disabled Devices and
  Show Disconnected Devices.

If the issue persists the follow the below step.

Step 2:

Hearing static in mic

Twitch is an example of the static that I can hear from stream replays and recording replays.
