Good afternoon,

I have been running a local Minecraft Bedrock alpha server for over a year now, upgrading through multiple versions and migrating our previous world to the new versions successfully without a single problem.

Yesterday, after updating the Server to V1.19.31.01, the server will not allow clients to connect signaling that "You need to authenticate to Microsoft Services". This is true for different users on different devices, including Windows 11, Windows 10 and iOS devices. All users are (and have always been) properly authenticated and the allowlist.json has always worked as expected.

If I turn to "false" both "online-mode" and "allow-list", I can connect without an issue.

I have also removed my previous allowlist.json file, started an empty one and added my user via command-line and the newly generated allowlist.json is still not allowing me to connect.

I have also tried running the .exe with administrator permissions (as suggested in older posts regarding this same problem) to no avail (but it has worked perfectly until this version without that)

Ports are open in the firewall. Exe has permissions on the network.

Everything has worked up until this version so I am really thinking this could be a breaking change or some other bug in the new version.

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

 

Minecraft server connection

Hi, im having a problem were i cant connect to specifically external servers on minecraft. while the main featured servers are fine. The servers just say locatibg servers on the main screen and when i try to connect it says unable to connect to world.
Im playing on windows 10/ bedrock edition of minecraft. Ive alsomade sure that the servers im tryibg to connect to are compatable with the pe version, im not quite sure if the servers are the right version with the new update that just came out but i really
cant figure it out with disabling my firewall completly not working along with running some commands to make sure that my minecraft is able to cross platform play. It could be something to do with the ports not being allowed. Got any help?
