Windows 10: Minecraft Bedrock and Java Bundle

So I got sent the email that I was eligible to get Java edition since I own Bedrock edition but I follow the steps sent in the email but it doesnt show the "get" button as it states in the email as shown in the image below. I dont know if i did something incorrect or whats wrong with it. It's been a month but I still can't redeem Java.

Minecraft Java & Bedrock merge is broken?

I'm not able to play minecraft java. I originally bought bedrock edition, and assumed with the new merge update that I would now be able to play java edition as well. Pressing play brings up a menu asking me to make a minecraft name, but doing that will cause it to respond with "failed to create profile". I instead tried putting in my microsoft user, which didn't work either (it said it was taken). I saw other websites saying to go to the minecraft page and open a dropdown menu for java in your profile tab, but i can't do that because i bought bedrock edition and it doesn't process that i should also have java with the new update. Am I misunderstanding how the update works? Is there a step i need to do to get both versions to work?
(edit/adding onto the update info says i should be able to go to the games page, and java should say "get" instead of "buy", but mine still says buy

Hi. I have problem. I see that summer 2022 will give minecraft bedrock as a bonus. So I own java edition and download minecraft bedrock. BUT it said buy minecraft for window in game. So I need help

 

Is there a difference between buying Minecraft Bundle

Im thinking of buying Minecraft, well I just wanted to know if there's a diff between buying Minecraft Bundle on Xbox.com (This one: https://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/store/minecraft-java-bedrock-edition-for-pc/9NXP44L49SHJ/0010), buying It from the Microsoft Store and buying It from the Minecraft Official website?
