Windows 10: Minecraft Bedrock breaks computer audio.

Minecraft java works just fine. When I open Minecraft bedrock, my entire pc audio breaks.Everything becomes bass boosted, and it’s not just Minecraft, it’s any audio I have playing. Notifications, yt, music.I’ve already tried resetting the app and have updated my sound drivers.Any advice or help is appreciated!

Minecraft Bedrock breaks audio on Windows 11

I have the same problem as the original user. This did not fix the issue. When I load bedrock edition, any audio that is playing on my pc stops. If it is a video, say on youtube, the audio stops, but sometimes the video keeps playing, but there is a spinning buffer circle that appears over the video. I can get the audio to work again by changing audio outputs and then changing it back to the regular output. This is a relatively new issue, so a recent update either in minecraft or to windows 11 probably caused it. I am on the brand new windows 11 update that just came out, if that helps.

I have been dealing with the same issue. I have narrowed it down to what Daniel Pawtowski mentioned at first. I am on a Dell Latitude 7490 with adequate resources for Minecraft Bedrock. I notice that when I start Minecraft it hangs at 35%, goes to 41% then hangs. I then have no choice but to close the application. I notice Windows events 1002 report that AudioSRV crashed, which led me down this rabbit hole. I have uninstalled / repaired and reset the Minecraft application with no resolution. Now, what I do, is load up Minecraft, let it crash.... restart the "Windows Audio" service.... which makes it go into a permanent "Stopped" state and then launch Minecraft and it loads up on the first tie as normal. I am using the latest version of Minecraft for Windows (1.20.31), but I see no bugs about this on the change logs page.

Right now, this looks like a bug to me, but I can play Minecraft.. It just with no audio :-(
