Windows 10: Minecraft compatibility from IOS to Windows

I have bought Minecraft on an IOS device, do I need to buy minecraft again on Windows to play the game or can I just sync the microsoft accounts.

Minecraft iOS & Windows 10

I've seen this question asked before, but still can't resolve it. I have Minecraft on iOS and Minecraft on Windows 10. Both devices are connected to the same WiFi network, but I'm not able to see the iOS world on Windows 10 or visa versa.

 

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server
