    Minecraft constantly crashing on Windows 10


    I've seen others in the past with this same issue, essentially every time I boot Minecraft, it crashes instantly with # EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION being the cause. I've done a fresh install of both Java and Minecraft numerous times, I did a fresh boot of my PC to no avail and I'm honestly at a loss of what to do.     Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

    It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

    It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

    • What is the exact error message when the Minecraft game crashes?
    You may try repairing the game from the Control Panel and check if it helps to resolve the issue. Refer the link below for steps to repair a program on Windows 10.

    Further make sure all pending updates are installed on the computer and also check the Event Viewer logs at the time when the game crashes.
