Windows 10: Minecraft deluxe edition not installing on win 11- store let’s me click install but it...

As title says- trying to install Minecraft java /bedrock deluxe editionWin 11 S mode, and it allowed me to purchase, but when I click installthis is on my kids account- I did update his permissions to allow any age in case that was impeding it, and have already approved purchase, the button turns grey and nothing happens. A few times it said something went wrong on their end, but most of the time just stays gray. Any help appreciated- I’m pretty PC illiterate, but can figure out things with walkthrough. Pc is an Asus L510M that I was assured could run Minecraft for my kid. He also is using

Minecraft installation on PC

In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 installed on the PC? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
• What is the make and model of the PC?
• How are you installing the Minecraft game? (Microsoft Store/online)
• Did you purchase Minecraft Java edition or Windows edition?
• Are you getting any error message, while installing the game?
  

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to perform try these steps and check, if you are installing Minecraft Windows edition.

Step 1:
Reset the Windows Store Cache

Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the
Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.

Note:
A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.

Step 2:
Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter

Select the Start button, and then select Settings>Update & Security
> Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run
the troubleshooter.

• Do you have any non-Microsoft antivirus program installed?
  
• Does this issue occur for all games & apps from the store?
  

• What is the date and time on the PC and ensure it is correct?
• Do you get any error message or code?

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to perform these steps and after every step check if you are able to install the game.

Minecraft installation failure in the app Store in Windows 10

Thank you Greg for the prompt reply! After trying all the steps on both PCs except for #11, the two issues remain:

1. On my primary PC, when I tried to install the game, it still says "Thank you! We're attempting to install on your selected device(s)." but nothing happens. Do you happen to know what "attempting"
   means here?
2. My secondary PC still doesn't show on the list of registered devices in the Store, even though I signed in with the same MS Account. So I couldn't try installing the game on it.

The Windows version on my primary PC is 1909, and it's 2004 on my secondary PC (just upgraded to the latest version of Windows yesterday). All updates are current on both PCs. That's why I didn't try
step #11.

Without knowing the root cause, I felt like I'm running out of luck here. Already spent too many hours on it. I may just as well buy and install the Minecraft Java Edition to bypass the broken Microsoft Store experience and have a peace of mind. But thank
you again!
