so i need some help my minecraft dungeons is not updating the new crossplay update and its not avalible in the microsoft store. how do i fix this?

Minecraft Dungeons now available on Windows, console and more

Today, we’re excited to celebrate the global release of Minecraft Dungeons with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and across Xbox One, Windows PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Minecraft Dungeons started as a true passion project here at Mojang Studios, and it has been an incredible journey to watch how the game has evolved over the years leading up to today’s launch. We couldn’t be prouder as a team, and we can’t wait for families and friends to dive into this brand new, standalone world within the Minecraft Universe.

Minecraft Dungeons promises challenges and adventure for players of all skill sets and playing types, but we think that no matter the player, it’s always better to explore together! We’re happy to offer both online and local co-op play, so that you can team up with your friends and family from a distance or even on your own couch – perfect for spending time at home.

You can start your adventure with the Standard Edition ($19.99 USD) of the game or get ready for more action with the Hero Edition ($29.99 USD), which includes a Hero Cape, two player skins and a chicken pet, as well as two future DLC packs, when they become available.

And this is only the beginning. The team is already hard at work on future updates and content. The first two DLC packs included in the Hero Edition are already in production – adding more adventures and challenges in brand new settings. We’d like to introduce a bit of a sneak peek into the first DLC expansion of the game, called ‘Jungle Awakens’. Trek through new missions that will take you to the heart of the jungle where you’ll find new weapons, armor and artifacts. This journey is meant for the bravest of heroes, for all twisted vines and paths lead to the source of corruption: the Jungle Abomination. We’re looking forward to sharing more on this soon, but for now we’re going to catch our breath and enjoy launch with our players!

MINECRAFT DUNGEONS: Jungle Awakens

A few days ago, the Minecraft universe got a great deal bigger – and so has the pile of dishes that I’ve been ignoring since the launch of Minecraft Dungeons. But since neglecting my job in favor of gaming has consequences that extend beyond my visual and olfactory pleasure, I’m here to announce (*cough* or confirm *cough*) some exciting future updates!

But first, on a more serious note, we would like to acknowledge the amazing response we got these past few days. One of the most exciting things about the launch is seeing your first impressions, the hidden and secret areas you're discovering, not to mention the endless combinations of armor and artifacts you're creating. We’ve put a lot of time, love, and hard work in this game – and seeing it finally in the hands of our community is an indescribable feeling. What's even more exciting – there's more to come!

You probably already know that we’re currently working on new content for Minecraft Dungeons, especially if you’ve purchased the Hero Edition. However, what you might not know is that the first of the two planned DLCs – Jungle Awakens – is coming in July! In this adventure, you’ll enter a distant, dangerous jungle to fight a mysterious power in three new missions. To defeat the terrors hidden among the vines, you’ll have new weapons, armor, and artifacts at your disposal.

You’ll get to meet the Leapleaf, Jungle Zombie, Poison Quill Vine, and others! I’ve heard that their social skills are lacking though, so gear up.

Once you’ve had enough of the jungle heat, you’ll explore some frozen peaks in Creeping Winter! This second addition to Minecraft Dungeons will be coming later this year, so keep an eye on this blog and our socials for future sneak peeks!

I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling really good about getting the Hero Edition right now – and it’s not just because of the baby chicken that comes with it. Have you seen how cute it is though?

Did you think that was it? Far from it! ! The team is also working on adding cross-platform play functionality and cool new free content for Minecraft Dungeons that everyone will receive, regardless of edition! We’ll come back with more details in the coming weeks. In the meantime, equip your favorite weapon and show that Arch-Illager who’s boss! Get it? I’ll see myself out.

Minecraft Dungeons first DLC pack Jungle Awakens now available

It only took one loud alarm, seven snooze reminders, and a stressed editor yelling “TODAY’S THE DAY, GET UP UPDATE!” Jungle Awakens, Minecraft Dungeons’ first DLC pack, is finally up and will be rolling out today on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One!

This update features everything you could wish for from an awakened jungle; from new missions and game mechanics, to never before seen mobs and items – as well as a… unique challenge.

Remember The Orb of Dominance? If you don’t, no biggie. It was just one of the most powerful and wicked artifacts the Overworld had ever seen, until some brave players managed to sell it to the Wandering Trader destroy it. Turns out that, even in broken form, the Orb of Dominance still has some of that dominance in it. One of its shards has found its way to a lush jungle, corrupting both the land and its inhabitants. Of course, it falls to you to get to the root of the problem, explore dense jungles, crumbling temples, and secluded bamboo forests, to save the day once more!

THERE’S MORE!

To celebrate the release of Jungle Awakens, we're also adding some extra content to the Minecraft Dungeons base game – free of charge. This content can be downloaded by updating the game and contains:

A free map: Lower Temple

A new threat level per difficulty: Unlocks higher-powered gear and additional challenges for the end-game content

New gear: Battlestaff and Dual Crossbows, plus two unique versions of each of them

Balance changes to various items

To get the new Jungle Awakens DLC, you can either buy it separately for your platform or upgrade your Standard Edition with a Hero Pass (and by doing so, securing yourself the first two DLC packs).
