Windows 10: Minecraft is missing from Microsoft Store Library

I bought the Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC 1 year ago 2023/03/02, but now not in my library. The Microsoft Store wants me to buy it again. It's ridiculous and outrageous!!! If i buy something, i want to see that in my library. i see that this problem occurs regularly in the Microsoft Store. Many people write similar problems. Nonsense! So, do I have to count on random programs and games will lost out of my library I paid earlier? I demand that the game be returned to my library immediately! And I don't want to see any similar things again. Thx

Minecraft installation in Microsoft store

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand your concern as you are unable to install Minecraft in Microsoft Store. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Windows 10 version and Build installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  

• Do you have any non-Microsoft antivirus program installed?
  
• Does this issue occur for all games & apps from the store?
  

• What is the date and time on the PC and ensure it is correct?
• Do you get any error message or code?

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to perform these steps and after every step check if you are able to install the game.

Step 1: Reset the Windows Store Cache: Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the
Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.

Note:
A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.

Step 2: Run the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter: Select the
Start button, and then select Settings>Update & Security
> Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.

Step 3: If you have any non-Microsoft security/antivirus software installed, disable it temporarily and then try installing the game.

Step 4: If the issue persists, then we would suggest you to create a new administrator user account and check, refer this article to

create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10.

Installation of Minecraft on Library Computer running deep freeze for Minecraft Club

I am trying to start a Minecraft club at our local public library. Our library has 2 computers - these are the regular public computers that are open whenever the library is. After doing some research I decided to use Bedrock because I can purchase a realm subscription and since I only have access to two library computers kids can also bring their own devices and participate. We are a small library so if I have 5-8 kids participating, I will consider it a success.

I was able to get our district tech person to help me with the install on Monday. Our library computers are both windows 10 Pro Version 21H2. We run deep freeze on them (this apparently is for patron privacy since it erases any changes made each time the computer reboots.)

Installation 1:

On the first computer I was logged in as the admin when I purchased/installed Minecraft. I set up a Microsoft account as an over 18 accounts. The email associated with that account is ****. I purchased Minecraft + Bedrock Order Number: **** Date purchased: October 9, 2023)



My questions on this installation are:

1. We can’t access Minecraft from the library patron side of the computer only on the admin side. I would like Minecraft to be available without me needing to log in as an administrator.
   
2. I am concerned that my credit card number is saved in association with that Minecraft user name. I need a way to remove the credit card so that kids/library patrons can not use it to purchase mods OR other items from the windows store. Also, I would like for the windows store login to be put back to Library user 2.
   

Installation 2:

On the second computer I had thought about the problem of credit card access, so I set up the account as an under 18 account with me as the ‘parent’. The email associated with this install is:**** the gamer tag is *****. (Order Number: ***** Date purchased: October 9, 2023). This time I happened to be still in Library User 2 when I did the install and just put in the admin password to finish the install. In this case we can access Minecraft from the Library User 2 instead of just the admin account.

My questions on this installation are:

1. Somehow I must have logged into the windows store as swc***@gmail.com. So now I am getting emails about what library patrons are downloading from the store. This is a huge privacy concern so I am guessing that I need to remove this installation and request a refund and reinstall as an over 18 account? Or do you have another idea to remedy this situation?
   

Also - if anyone has a suggestion on how to actually contact Microsoft support via email if I need a refund that would be apricated.

Any suggestions or advice you can give would be really apricated!

 

The APP missing in store library after upgrade to windows 10 14361

I purchased several apps and games via store (drawboard, minecraft windows 10 beta ...)

They did show up in my windows store library list.

I deleted drawboard yesterday since it is not working and I found that it is no longer in my purchased app list.

Further, I found the games and apps I purchased last year are no longer in the library list any more

Is this a bug for this store version?

anyone has similar problems?
